It was a very busy weekend in the Land of Noa!

Saturday was Special Olympics (the first live Special Olympics since Covid - when riders were video-taped and judged later.) Noa had a great time.

She participated in 2 events and won gold medals in both of them: Working Trail and Equitation!

Noa typically does well in Working Trail, but has always struggled with Equitation - which is focused on posture and leg position, so winning gold there was really a testament to all the work she's been doing  in these areas.

Noa was patient with all the ceremonial stuff, and having wait her turn. She loved meeting people and wanted to learn and spell everyone's names.

One of the things Noa loves about Special Olympics (or "Special Horsey" as she called it) is that you get a necklace, but she finds the ribbon they put the medals on to be rather boring so she immediately complained that the necklace part should be longer and stretchy, so we took care of that after we got home, and she was much happier.

Sunday we went apple picking, which was also great fun. She really enjoyed picking apples and putting them in the bag. The hayride was also great fun - and the fact that it was also a windy day made it even better as far as Noa was concerned!
